Introduction

Hey there, we are team D3 in the fall 2013 edition of 2.008! We are better known as team clocktopus. 2.008 is a design and manufacturing class offered at MIT. Over the remainder of the semester, we will be designing and producing fifty yo-yos as an exercise to further our understanding of part design, mold design, assembly operations, machining, and production volume. We have chosen a space theme, complete with moon, stars, and a rocket ship. This is us:
